“a rock in the beans” glimmer train finalist

Just learned that my story “A Rock in the Beans” was chosen as a finalist for the Glimmer Train August 2011 Short Story Award for New Writers competition. I’ve been sending in stories there since 2006 or so and finally cracked the top five percent of entries.
